The aims is to define the precise geographical areas of focus for the research and development activities, the background information available and the data rescuing activities.
The Montenegro coastal area, the Bojana river and the water quality problems of the Bojana river delta and coastal area will be discussed at several meetings to be held during the first year of the project. This will consolidate the basic phenomenological knowledge of the project partners on the environmental issues for the Montenegro coastal area.

During the first year of the project the Montenegro large atmospheric sector, the Montenegro coastal area, the Bojana river and the water quality problems of the Bojana river delta and coastal area have been discussed at all the meetings held during the first year of the project, consolidating the basic phenomenological knowledge of the project partners on the environmental issues for the Montenegro coastal area.

The historical data available have been collected, many of them translated into English (the translation activity is very long and still going on), collated on the “repository” section of the Adricosm-Star official web page, and partially quality controlled to be used in the modelling studies and to form the basis for the planning of the new observational activities.

During the second year all the data have been organized in a preliminary archive. All the documentation has been made available on the official web site of the project., and the archive will be organized by topic to sort out a well structured and efficient source of historical data during the last year of the Project.
